PEACE project knowledge sharing with HyCC
Published: November 17, 2025
The PEACE team had a productive summer, marked by both research progress and knowledge-sharing activities. Disseminating project results within the scientific and research community remains one of the project’s key communication priorities.
PEACE partner HyCC, a leading company in green hydrogen solutions, showcased the opportunities and challenges of scaling up next-generation electrolysis technologies at one of the most prominent events in electrochemistry – the 76th Annual Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry.

In a talk delivered by Paola Granados Mendoza, co-authored by Hans Veenkamp (HyCC) and Hans Wiggenhauser, Dirk Ullmer, and Fatemeh Razmjooei (DLR), the scientific advancements, technological innovations, and industrial impact potential of the PEACE project was highlighted. The presentation also drew parallels with HyCC’s Djewels project, one of its flagship demonstration initiatives in green hydrogen production.
Paola also contributed to capacity-building efforts through her lectures at the 10th European Summer School on Electrochemical Engineering (ESSEE) - an event dedicated to PhD students, young researchers, and early-career professionals. Under the theme Green Hydrogen – industrial implementation, she delivered a series of lectures illustrating how PEACE’s research on highly pressurized alkaline electrolysis supports the development of a competitive and sustainable hydrogen economy in Europe.
