PEACE Project Achieves Key Milestone
Published: February 6, 2026
The Pressurized Efficient Alkaline EleCtrolysEr (PEACE) project has reported significant progress in developing cost-effective, high-pressure alkaline electrolysis technology for green hydrogen production. The consortium’s latest internal results show that under pressurized single-cell conditions, a cell achieved cell potentials below 1.8 V at a current density of 1 A cm⁻² with stable operation over time — a performance level that signals major advancements toward highly efficient alkaline electrolyser systems.
