PEACE Project Team at ICE 2025 in Freiburg, August 2025

Published: July 23, 2025

Join the PEACE project at a lecture and poster session during the Fifth International Conference on Electrolysis (ICE 2025) in Freiburg, Germany (August 24-29)! ICE 2025 focuses on advancing research, innovation, and industrial applications in water electrolysis.

Dr. Thijs de Groot, from Eindhoven University of Technology, a distinguished member of the PEACE project team, will provide insights into alkaline water electrolysis. As an invited speaker, his lecture will address critical topics such as alkaline water electrolysis technology pricing, flexibility, and reliability. Dr. de Groot's talk is scheduled for Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 10:30 AM.

The PEACE team from Eindhoven University of Technology, is currently focused on qualifying pressurized cell components for substrate selection, membrane/diaphragm selection, and cell design. These components are crucial for scaling up testing in the PEACE alkaline electrolyzer stack demonstrator.

Additionally, Saksham Pandey, a PhD candidate at TU/e, will present initial findings in his poster titled "Ohmic Resistance: The Bubble Story of Alkaline Water Electrolyzers," displayed at the Prometheus Hall on Monday, August 25. Saksham's research combines impedance spectroscopy and high-speed imaging to experimentally evaluate ohmic resistances within AWE electrochemical cells under industrial conditions.

Join us in Freiburg and get hooked by the latest advancements from the PEACE project!
