- PEACE Project at ISE 2025 in Mainz, September 2025
Published: September 1, 2025
The PEACE project will be featured at the 76th Annual Meeting of the Intnational Society of Electrochemistry in Mainz, Germany, taking place from September 7-12, 2025.
We are proud to announce that Dr. Paola Granados Mendoza, from HyCC, a leading green hydrogen solutions company, has been invited to give a presentation at this key international event in electrochemistry.
Her talk, entitled „Scaling High-Pressure Electrolysis: Advancing Green Hydrogen for Industrial Decarbonization”, is co-authored by Hans Veenkamp (HyCC) and Hans Wiggenhauser, Dirk Ullmer, and Fatemeh Razmjooei (DLR). The presentation will explore the opportunities and challenges of scaling up next-generation electrolysis technologies.

Dr. Granados Mendoza will highlight the scientific advancements, technological innovations, and industrial impact potential of the PEACE project. She will also draw comparisons with the Djewels project, one of HyCC’s demonstration initiatives, providing valuable lessons for the roll-out of large-scale hydrogen plants.
Importantly, the presentation will stress that scaling up and commercializing electrolysis technologies requires more than achieving strong performance and efficiency. Safety considerations, regulatory compliance, and building a robust business case are equally vital for successful implementation.
Dr. Granados Mendoza’s speech is scheduled for Thursday, 11th September, 2025 at 5:15 PM in room Meeting 1 of the Rheingoldhalle, Mainz.
The project is supported by
